Job Description

In this compelling leadership position, you will lead the group responsible for developing strategic plan for collecting, analyzing, and/or interpreting financial or operational information which could include trend analysis and identification of gaps and opportunities. In this role, you will value assets by assessing current condition and recommend debt structures by analyzing refinancing options.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The SF CFO - Financial Planning and Analysis - Director role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Inform senior management on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Establish guidelines for coordination and collection of financial input data from different departments.
  • Review financial data integrity checks and summarize and convert financial data for senior management.
  • Perform financial data analysis in preparing Profit Loss (PL) Statements or other financial statements.

Skills

  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Expertise in using statistical methods, including: developing and testing hypotheses, using experimental design, and running linear and logistic regressions
  • Expertise in service management concepts for networks and related standards such as ITIL practices or SDLC
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Experience identifying and selecting strategic options, and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives
  • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Excel or SSRS
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Business Process Management including business process modeling, process design and implementation, etc.
  • Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
  • Skilled in the integrated management of main business processes with the help of ERP technology like SAP ERP, Business Objects, or PeopleSoft
  • Experience forecasting, predicting, and monitoring financials with a focus on ratios, equities, and debts
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Experience evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other financial entities or instruments to determine viability, stability, and performance
