The Office of School of Education is seeking candidates for Project Specialist role. The Budget Coordinator of the NJ Tutoring Corps will coordinate hiring and payment of tutors, create purchase orders for supplies and materials, oversee subawards to Boys and Girls Clubs and Y-Alliance, travel requests and reimbursement, set up and monitor budgets, and create regular reports for internal and external review. The Coordinator will work closely with TCNJ departments including Grant Post-Awards, Human Resources, Payroll, and Budget and Finance, as well as with the Budget Manager for the School of Education. Main Responsibilities: Coordinate the hiring and payments to all tutors Create PO's as required Oversee any subawards concernig Boys & Girls Clubs and Y-Alliance Oversee travel requests and reimbursements as required Create financial reports as required and mandated Required Qualifications: Experience in purchasing, payroll and HR systems Bachelors degree from accredited college/University or equivalent Strong technology skills with an emphasis on spreadsheets Preferred Qualifications: Experience in K-12 or higher education Clear written and oral communication skills Experience working with budgets and accounting skills and organization About TCNJ TCNJ is a highly selective institution that has earned national recognition for its commitment to excellence.
