Lockheed Martin is looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to become a member of a Space Vehicle Management Team\.

As a **Space Vehicle ICD Lead** , you will:

• Develop complex interface control documents involving RF payloads and spacecraft Bus in a Model\-Based Systems Engineering environment

• Perform system analysis and interface definition and management/ execution

• Participate in value driven Systems Engineering team and drive design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way

• Participate in design reviews and technical product reviews

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions including:

a\.\) System trade studies and/or System modeling

b\.\) Requirements and Interface Control Document \(ICD\) development

c\.\) System Integration, Test and/or Verification

d\.\) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies

• Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process including trade studies, design reviews and system verification

• Active DOD Top Secret or SCI clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

**Desired Skills:**

• Experience in Systems Engineering, or related technical field experience with knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes

• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering \(e\.g\., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc\.\)

• Experience applying SysML to Systems Engineering efforts and working with modern SysML tools

• Experience using MBSE execution and analysis tools and managing model content

• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data

• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program

• Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members

• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations

• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change

• 5 years relevant experience \(2 yrs experience may be substituted with Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate\)

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
