**Description:** Our Lockheed Martin AN/SQQ\-89 Systems Engineering, Integration & Test team is looking for a Systems Engineer to help guide our Test Automation efforts in support of the development, verification and delivery of anti\-submarine warfare capabilities to the U\.S\. Navy\.

The successful candidate will work as part of an diverse SEI&T team that assists in the development and certification of advanced sonar systems and fire control\. The candidate will work to bring a defined test suite from a labor\-intensive step\-based effort into a modern, automated test suite that is maintained with each release\. The candidate will seek to extend the amount of testing automation as the baseline continues to be enhanced\.

The position will:

• Design, develop, and implement software testing that leverages automation and associated tools

• Plan and coordinate the labor, schedules, and equipment required for conducting software testing

• Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, procedures, processes, or requirements, to increase test automation

Travel to support various off\-site test events may be required\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Experience developing and performing test solutions to verify integrated software functionality and requirements

• Experience in establishing and conducting automated testing to streamline test programs as part of an Agile Development team

• Experience with developing, delivering and enacting formal software test procedures and reports

• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with peers, managers, and project stakeholders, including demonstrated customer interface

**Desired Skills:**

• Experience developing automated testing for a operator/GUI\-intensive system

• Automated test tool scripting

• Testing experience with virtualized systems

• US Navy undersea warfare experience, especially with AN/SQQ\-89 operations and its integration with the combat system and combat system elements

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
