What You'll Do:
  • Assist to develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
  • Develop, maintain and modify basic structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Assist with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
  • Support investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
  • Work under general supervision.
What You'll Need:
  • Familiar with Engineering Processes
  • Structural design experience
  • Computer Aided Design Tools
  • Assembly process experience
  • Aircraft systems software experience
  • Catia Experience is a must
  • PDM and AutoCAD preferred
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree combined with 2 + years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
