Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and deployment of digital solutions for Honeywell Procurement function globally with focus on Strategic sourcing, Indirect Procurement and Supply Base Management.
  • Take end-to-end IT application portfolio accountability covering:
  •  Business needs and prioritization for digitization (Demand management)
  • Partner with the businesses and procurement functional leadership to deploy digital solutions globally covering various opportunities within Strategic Sourcing, Indirect Procurement and Supply Base Management.
  • Ensure the solutions being deployed are best-in-class and align with the IT architecture standards at Honeywell and go through the necessary due diligence on the choice of technology, Build vs Buy etc.
  • Execute the programs and deploy the digital capability successfully meeting the Schedule, Cost and Quality commitments and transition them to operations for ongoing support and sustenance
  • Lead a team of IT Professionals globally; provide mentoring and development, regular performance feedback, and counsel team members in career development and team goal attainment.
  • Develop and sustain partnerships with external vendors for Application development and support
  • Work in a matrix environment and to communicate at all levels in the organization
  • Engage senior executives for driving strong program governance to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Deal with ambiguity, and uncertainty while operating in a multi-cultural, global environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed, ~25%




  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 15+ years of experience in an IT or functional role within Sourcing / Procurement
  • 5+ years in a leadership role within ERP deployments – IT or Sourcing / Procurement
  • 2+ cycles of ERP deploying Sourcing / Procurement solutions or projects from an IT or functional perspective; Experience in SaaS solutions like Ivalua highly preferred
  • 2+ full software development lifecycle projects for non ERP custom application development from IT project management / architecture perspective




  • Bachelors or master’s degree in IT / Operations
  • Strong knowledge of the Procure to Pay processes and how it spans multiple functions (Procurement, Finance, AP,..) across the organization and how IT can drive productivity within the organization; Bring process orientation and mindset to lead / participate actively along with the business on process definition and standardization before deploying IT enabled solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with ERPs /eProcurement products such as SAP, Ariba, Ivalua etc. deploying sourcing or other Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) processes
  • Good understanding of application support processes and practices and able to drive the mindset of customer orientation and ongoing improvements and productivity within operations
  • Good understanding of Financial Management and applying it for program budgeting, cost management, benefit realization and variance analysis, Return on Investment etc
  • Strong communication, influencing, and change management skills while consistently making timely decisions even in the face of complexity
  • Drives "right and fast" results in a matrixed environment with Creative and reciprocal problem-solving skills
  • Conveys specific, observable, and measurable expectations for each assignment, and verifies understanding on deliverables and timeframes.
  • Creation and implementation of result-oriented Management Operating System with the team and program stakeholders
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to define the problem/issue and create effective strategies to lead our connected technology solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration & negotiation skills: Ability to understand customer needs, negotiate complex issues and total value offerings to our customers.
  • Proven experience in process design, software/solution configuration, functional specification development, testing and training require
  • Disciplined and able to troubleshoot and tackle problems independently as well as a team
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
