Corporate Functions – Marketing & CommunicationsAs part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

YOUR ROLE: Manager: Delivery Excellence Planning and Operations Lead, Marketing + Communications

Play a key strategic role in ensuring the successful operation of the 600-person global Marketing and Communications Delivery Excellence group. Lead Budgeting, Operations, HR admin and special projects working closely with the head of Delivery Excellence, the Delivery Excellence leadership team, Finance and Human Resources.

While there will never be a typical day at Accenture, here’s a look at some of your responsibilities.

Finance Responsibilities- Interface and contact person between Group Lead, Finance, Planning & Operations Center of Excellence and Delivery Excellence Team Leads- Monitor and ensure Delivery Excellence stays on financial plan- Set up fiscal year planning, framework and communication cascade to ensure that planning runs smoothly- Support special requests such as savings target requests, headcount forecast, work breakdown structure management, cost center controls, procurement/invoice processing, etc.

Operations Responsibilities- Set up and participate in Delivery Excellence Leadership Team Meetings, quarterly webcasts and Delivery Excellence management council meetings- prepare and follow up with agenda, requests and potential future topics- Track and analyze different workstreams like budgets, payroll, organization design and people and community initiatives- Support Group Lead and Global Planning &Operations Lead requests as they occur- Attend all Marketing + Communications Planning & Operations Lead calls, represent Delivery Excellence point of view and actively participate in/lead process improvements in Delivery Excellence- Work closely with other cross-Delivery excellence team members and team operations points of contact to support group objectives

HR Responsibilities- Interface and contact person between Group Lead, Human Resources and team leads- With HR and Group Lead, drive promotion process in Delivery Excellence- Ensure Workday, roles blueprint and organization charts are accurate, up to date- Own the New Joiner Process for Delivery ExcellenceSpecial Projects- Integrated Planning Champion, Manage My Sales and Reporting and Analytics as needed- Leadership Summit Planning- Group specific learning agenda needs- Others, as identified by the Group Lead/Planning & Operations Lead

Basic Qualifications:- Education: 4 year college degree- Minimum of 4+ year business experience, working in a complex organization, ideally in a marketing environment but with a focus/interest in marketing operations excellence

Professional Skills:- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting- Appetite to familiarize yourself with what the Delivery Excellence group does so you can best represent our collective ‘voice’- Takes point and leads- Willing to roll up sleeves and get in the trenches when necessary- Ability to troubleshoot and get in front of potential issues- Can industrialize activities that are unique to Delivery Excellence, and optimize processes vs adding more- Supports connectivity and relationships across the team- Helps reduce work of lesser return- Simplifies the complex- Great PPT / Excel skills- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Work Requirements:Virtual role, working from home or local office – may need to travel on occasion for meetings once travel is reinstated.
