The Challenge:

Crave a challenge that is also rewarding? This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit\. You will be responsible for the security and integrity of systems that keep our jets flying\.

It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F\-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight\. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System \(ALIS\) that gives F\-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle\. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U\.S\. and allied military services\.

Special Requirements:

This Position will support the F\-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System \(ALIS\) Program\. The successful candidate will serve as an ALIS Administrator responsible for all facets of the F\-35 ALIS IT system\. The incumbent must be a self\-starter, have the ability to make timely decisions, and be willing to learn all facets of the ALIS System\. This position will be part of the larger Interim Contractor Support \(ICS\) Administrator infrastructure at an existing F\-35 location\.

As critical members of the F\-35 Operations Team, all ALIS administrators must:

\* Be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access

\* Be willing and able to travel for military deployments/detachments \(ship and/or shore\) for extended periods of time dependent upon operational needs\.

\* Be capable of working various shift hours to include weekends to support customer mission requirements\.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

\* Security audit logs monitoring and reviewing

\* Standalone and ancillary system auditing and audit archiving

\* Hardware sanitization for equipment removal assistance

\* Hardware control inventory

\* General IA Security monitoring

\* Maintaining security documentation

\* Monitoring system security configuration Installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space

\* Interacting daily with users and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the ALIS product suite

\* Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi\-user computer systems through coordination with other administrative disciplines

\* Reviewing processes/procedures, collect system operational data for analysis\.

\* Applying operating system updates, anti\-virus/anti\-spyware updates, and patch updates

**Basic Qualifications:**

\* Candidates must have a Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years

\* Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification \(Security\+, CySA\+, or CCNA\)

\* Able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access

\* Security Administration Experience

\* Oracle/SQL experience

\* Network Administration Experience

\* Windows System Administration Experience

**Desired Skills:**

\* Knowledge of Windows audit policy and ability to manually audit security logs to ensure compliance with security policy\.

\* Experience with log audit using Splunk

\* Ensure security patching \(IAVAs, IAVBs, IAVAMs, anti\-virus signatures\) are properly applied to accredited systems\.

\* Experience monitor systems and user accounts for malicious, inappropriate, or negligent use/misuse \(e\.g\. probing, penetration, or bypass of security functions\) of systems or resources, as well as malicious logic \(either by insertion, malicious configuration, or misconfiguration\)\.

\* Experience performing Vulnerability Alert Review \(VAR\) activities\.

\* Experience with Windows Server Administration

\* Experience with JBOSS Enterprise Application Platform

\* Experience with Database Administration

\* Networking Administration experience

\* Military Aviation Maintenance experience

\* User Account Maintenance using Active Directory

\* Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers \(Win2012\) and virtual machines

\* Hyper\-V Virtual Machine Management Service

\* Applying operating system updates, anti\-virus/anti\-spyware updates, and patch updates

\* Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS hardware and software
