This position will serve as a lead contracts negotiator and administrator to support the growing F\-35 market segment of the Rotary and Mission Systems Training and Logistics Solution \(TLS\) line of business\. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and sustainment segments of the F\-35 contracts department, advising program management and finance teams, as well as personnel from other functional areas \(i\.e\., legal, supply chain, pricing, etc\.\)\.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

\- Reviewing and approving contracts work product such as proposals, terms and conditions, and modification documents for Intra\-Lockheed Martin Work Transfer Agreements \(IWTAs\) with LM Aero for the F\-35 Program\.

\- Ensuring that IWTAs are negotiated and administered in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, statutory laws, and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures

\- Reviewing and evaluating customer requests for proposal and revisions to IWTAs

\- All aspects of contract administration including proposal support and negotiation, post\- award contract administration, scope management, and contract closeout

\- Developing and executing negotiation strategies

\- Providing contractual guidance to junior employees

\- Preparing and presenting briefings to management and customers, and working with team members to do the same

\- Understanding, communicating, and implementing strategic initiatives across the team

\- Assisting in personnel matters, such as employee recruitment, training, and work assignments\.

\- Developing productive working relationships with internal and external customers\.

\- Candidate should be a self\-starter who requires minimal supervision and has the ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts and suggest viable alternatives during negotiation\.

\- Should be able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast\-paced environment\.

\- Successful candidate will be required to become familiar with the unique program requirements in minimal time\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree\.

• Preferred Knowledge of IWTA Process

• Expert Knowledge of FAR/DFAR

• Intellectual Property knowledge

• Utilizes excellent written and oral communication

skills

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers, integrated program, team members, and industry peers\.

• Candidate willing and able to engage on routine

and unique problems/issues to help develop

solutions\.

• Effectively organizes, prioritizes and manages

multiple assignments and priorities\.

• Ability to obtain security clearance\.
