The RN Stroke Coordinator works in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure superior quality, timeliness and effectiveness of stroke care delivery.

  • Responsible for program assessment, planning, organization, implementation, performance improvement, staff guidance and patient/family/community education
  • Manages and analyzes data and compiles reports
  • Maintains communication and coordinates with participants within the EMS system
  • Assists with marketing/promotion of services provided

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Colorado RN license or compact license is accepted
  • Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • 2 years’ experience in neurology, critical care or internal medicine Possesses advanced knowledge of theory and practice as evidenced by credentials, peer review and performance evaluation.    
  • Previous leadership and/or program coordination preferred
