This individual contributor position is for an experienced Corporate Social Responsibility professional, who works within the CSR team to build and execute a global strategy on behalf of Collins Aerospace. This individual will report directly to the Sr. Manager of CSR, and will also work with teammates at Raytheon Technologies and its business units__ The successful candidate must be self-motivated, highly collaborative, creative, and enjoy working in a results driven environment. This position is remote capable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Collins CSR Lead in executing CSR programming

  • Assist in developing and managing Collins___ annual philanthropy budget and grant programming

  • Manage the end-to-end process of philanthropic giving, including application, review and approval of donation/grant requests

  • Develop, manage and execute employee volunteer programs that aligns and further enhances Collins philanthropic mission and focus; identify opportunities for employee engagement

  • Plan and executing key global events that align with Collins CSR programming

  • Manage key philanthropy partnerships and initiatives__

  • Partners with community organizations to lead philanthropic activities on behalf of Collins Aerospace/Raytheon Technologies.

  • Partners with Diversity and Talent Acquisition on CSR initiatives/programming

  • Helps serve as a liaison to RTX CSR ensuring cross-programming alignment

  • Revises and improves internal materials, including organization publications, group emails, intranet pages, training materials, and employee meeting materials as it relates to CSR.

  • Creates and disseminates information to drive employee engagement in CSR programs.

  • Assists with developing, planning, and conducting public relations and public affairs programs to improve and support CSR programming objectives with the media, public, industry, and other external stakeholders.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:__

  • Bachelor___s Degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is Required
  • Must be willing to travel up to 35%.
  • Must be a US Person/Permanent Resident 'Green Card' holder

    Preferable Qualifications:

    • High level stakeholder and/or portfolio management experience across non-profit and public sectors

    • Experience working in a large global, matrixed organization

    • Excellent project management skills with an ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects efficiently and simultaneously

    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

    • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail

    • Self-motivated with a high bias for action

    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; comfortable with ambiguity

    • Experience in working in or with nonprofit sector

    • Experience with Cybergrants, YourCause, Benevity or other CRM platforms

    • Global Event Planning experience

    • Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance insight

    • Public and Media Relations experience
