Position Summary:

Together with the Outside Sales, the Inside Sales is the most important Point of Contract for the customer. The Inside Sales is reporting to the Country Manager and is working in very close cooperation with the Outside Sales. In the organization, the Inside Sales is co-equal to the Outside Sales. In this function, the Inside Sales is in very close contact to the customer, he is responsible to prepare quotations according to local regulations and standards, coordinate the strategy with the Outside Sales, the follow up of quotations and sales leads with the customer, maintain the SFDC CRM System and support the sales and marketing initiatives in the local region. Additionally, the Inside Sales is giving strong support to the Country Manager and to the Outside Sales for SIOP Demand Forecasting, reporting, and meeting preparation.                                                                                                                             

What will you do?

Quotations and Sales Lead Follow-up:

Analyze and optimize projects on base of tenders in local language or drawings, work on a project design according to local standards and regulations and calculate Bill of Quantity (BoQ) for Honeywell products. Exchange projects, designed with competitor brands to Honeywell products, considering local regulations and standards. Prepare offers for systems, integrated solutions and special applications like stadiums, tunnels, logistic center, data warehouses and industry. Coordinate with the Outside Sales the strategy for the offering, depending on market prices and customer segment with the target to give the lowest possible discount for winning the job. Drive the "less 1% discount" pricing initiative for the quotations. Collect all relevant market and project information for the SFDC approval process. Follow up the quotations and sales leads across the region and maintain the current CRM and quotation software SFDC (saleforce.com) with updated customer and project information. Run frequently SFDC analyses and reports to support the Country and Outside Sales with information about current sales pipe, opportunities, and won/lost analyses. Give the customers a Word Class Customer service in local language for training, consulting, and guidance to select the appropriate Honeywell product, which fits to his request and meets the local regulations, which are changing frequently. Support customer with tender specific documents, which necessary to attach to his quote. Load new project leads from the local project data base into SFDC and link the project leads to the responsible Outside Sales. Update Outside Sales about hot projects and updated project lists. Direct process of small orders without discount. Update Outside Sales about special technical solutions, quoted for certain projects. Like: Honeywell DTS (Distributed Temperature System, Advanced Detection, and other special Vertical Solutions). Priorisation of the workload according to the local partner program                                                                                                              

Support and Communication:

Share project information, received from customer, designer, and end-user to Outside Sales. Prepare customer visits with updated quotes and SFDC reports. The Inside Sales is the deputy of the Outside Sales in case of absence. Participate on Tier meetings, SFDC calls, Customer Service Meetings, SIOP meeting, Marketing and Marcom meetings. Support Country Manager with KPIs for his Tier meetings. Give support on events with presentations. Prepare SIOP Demand Forecast on project base, considering sales pipe with 90% and 70% probability, and closing dates. Communication with the C2Ce Team to extend credit limits for quotation of high-volume one-time projects for small/middle size customers. Discuss with customer, who are on the blocking list from C2C team about possibilist to receive quotations. Use of Honeywell ETR (Extended Terms Request) software tool and insert all requested information (revenues past years, etc.) to the C2C team to apply longer payment terms or extended credit limits. Frequently contact on daily base to Customer Service to hand over won quotations and inform Customer Service for special customer requests like ship to address, standard order or contract order, special defined material, which has to be delivered upfront. Handover of projects with service to the local project team. Frequently contact to the Trainer, Tech Support, Marketing, Finance, Sales Operation Team and Marcom on Daily Base.                                                                                                                              

Support to Designer and Planner / SFDC Super User:

The Inside Sales advises the Designers/Planners in the usage of the local fire alarm standards and regulations, the selection of the appropriate Honeywell product to develop a complete working system. Additionally, the cost estimation with the quotation tool and follow up of the project in SFDC CRM tool has to be done. He is connecting the designer to the appropriate HON partner. The Inside Sales is maintaining the local tender text software with local language product specification text.

Additionally, the Inside Sales is the SFDC Super User for his local office. In this function, he is in case of SFDC related questions the first point of contact and SFDC trainer for the Country Manager, Outside Sales, Customer Service and Trainer. He is identifying any changes that may impact the business and help identify solution. He is the first level support for break fix cases and local enhancement requests. He makes sure, requests are valid and long term and conduct sanity check before promoting them. He is participating the frequent EMEA Super User Calls and represent the local business on these occasions. He is raising new requests following the current procedures, monitoring data quality together with CRM Leader and he is creating and Updating local documentation (process descriptions, work instructions, etc.).                                                                       

Who are we looking for?

·         Technical education – preferably BA
