Key Responsibilities

Performs moderately complex SEM (scanning electron microscope) analysis and activities such as wafer cleaving for the structure of interest, sample sputter coating, top down and cross sectional SEM imaging etc.

Acquire EDS (energy dispersive X-ray spectrum) under instruction of engineers.

Maintain work request system, and communicate with requestors on the status and updates.

Perform routine system maintenance procedure, plasma clean etc., and work with vendor to keep the tool uptime.

Compiles logbooks and test procedures documentation utilizing good writing skills.  Assists in revising, developing and implementing procedures.
