Job Summary:

Raytheon Missiles & Defense Global Supply Chain has a need for a Team Leader II, Planning and Production Control. This position will work with all logistics functions (warehouse, pack/ship, transportation, 3PL).
As the Inventory Control Lead (Team Leader II, Planning and Production Control) you will be responsible for multiple Inventory Management processes including cycle count processes, and oversight of material reviews in the warehouse. You___ll also be responsible for developing and managing a team of support personnel who resolve inventory system-related issues. This is a highly collaborative role partnering with production control, warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, planning and other operational organizations. This role is a part of the Northeast Offsite Logistics Team, which provides a unique opportunity to work with and learn many functions within RMD Global Logistics. It is a fast-paced role that requires multitasking as well as clear and concise communication across many levels within the company.

Responsibilities To Anticipate :
  • Conduct inventory management analysis and identify improvement opportunities by assessing current processes/practices
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects regarding inventory management
  • Application of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards related to inventory management through MRP/ERP system
  • Manage, schedule, and conduct Internal Audits and Inspections
  • Support training and understanding of concepts across the team

    Qualifications you Must Have:
  • 4+ years___ experience in a Supply Chain or Operations environment
  • Demonstrated Lean Experience and/or Six Sigma concept
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Qualifications We Value:
  • 2+ years___ demonstrated experience managing a team
  • ASCM or ISM certification or able to obtain certification within 1 year of employment
  • Experience with Logistics Execution in an Enterprise Resource Planning System (SAP)
  • Experience with shop floor management or inventory management systems
  • Ability to motivate and influence across functional groups
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient skills working with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Experience interfacing with government auditors
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success
