As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to guide technical teams through project and certification execution for our products and services. These cover a very wide range from avionics modifications, interior reconfigurations to mission payloads and electronic systems. You'll perform engineering design evaluations and certification requirements and definition that ensure our projects are completed within budget and scheduling constraints and taking action to resolve issues when they arise. Your duties include the development of project and certification plans and oversight of the execution of the project throughout its lifecycle.

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in a related field of study
  • Prior experience with FAA Certification Standards (14 CFR Part 23, 25)
  • Experience with reading, reviewing and interpreting technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Thorough understanding of requirements management, system design, integration


  • Typically 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience to leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating with program management and customers
  • Familiarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule management
  • Past history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternative
  • Experience in Military certification (MIL-HDBK-516) programs
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedure
  • Professional Certification in Program Management International (PMI) and/or Program Management Professional (PMP)
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
