Job Description:

Senior Irrigation Engineer

Doha, Qatar

The Senior Irrigation Engineer will handle the review and approval of all submittals by the contractors while managing the quality control and quality assurance. The incumbent will lead the site Engineers and inspectors to ensure that all construction activities have been performed as per the contract and specifications.

  • Ensures designs and drawings are compliant with municipal standards and client requirements.

  • Ensure designs/deliverables compliant with scope of work and contract requirements, QA/QC design deliverables for completeness, utilities coordination, clash analysis and constructability.

  • Assist in supervising the construction of irrigation and associated works.

  • Observe, check and record work execution is in accordance with approved methods.

  • Check instructions are being carried out.

  • Monitor and record inspections, tests, work executed etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture/Mechanical/Irrigation or equivalent

  • Minimum 12+ years’ experience in irrigation systems of large landscape projects

  • Experience in landscape design & supervision with knowledge of plant material, irrigation systems, outdoor lighting and softscape &hardscape features.

  • Experience in urban design & supervision including high-end commercial landscapes.

  • Experience in preparation of reports and submissions with conceptual elements.

  • Ability to read engineering site plans

  • Experience in the GCC and an understanding of its cultural heritage will be highly regarded
