Job Description
The Clinical platform and Environment Specialist applies technical and project management skills to implement new functionality, and or upgrade existing ones in support of the platform. The position plays a strategic role in bringing continuity and standards to the implementation process to non-production environments and delivering quality business solutions across a variety of applications and operational environments.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Strong problem solving skills: innovation, collaboration, risk/benefit analysis
• Demonstrated experience with multiple components of information technology infrastructure, including multiple operating systems, distributed systems, Web-centric architectures, various hardware components (servers, disk and database), network infrastructure components, systems management tools and database management systems
• Strong project management skills, including large scale open systems and distributed implementations.
• Act as a gatekeeper for code asset management, prefill/backfill, DevOps pipeline and ensuring that all cross-functional teams sign off on the stability and functionality of the environment
• Identify & manage risks and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders while proposing solutions.
• Effectively communicate required delivery dates, deployment pipelines, and releases for project activities.
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
• Experience with one or more development methodologies such as Agile or Scaled Agile.
• Works in collaboration with Vendor, Application, Development, Infrastructure, Production Support and other functional disciplines/teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years of practicing knowledge of environmental management, backfill processes, masking techniques and/or access control

Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced Skills in all of the MS Office products including Excel, PPT, SharePoint, O365, MS Project and Visio.
• Operational experience across the following: UNIX, Windows, Database Administration, Networking and Middleware.
• Prior software implementation experience including configuring environments for application migration
• Maintain deep understanding of product ecosystem and its interdependencies and leverage various tools available for environment management & stability

Bachelor of Computer Science or related field or 1 year experience for every year degree not obtained
