Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you!  We currently have an opportunity for a Claims Associate to join our team at our offices in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Claims Associate, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reviewing claims from start to finish, verifying and updating information on submitted claims, reviewing the policy to determine which charges are eligible for reimbursement, negotiating payment to all parties and following up to ensure that payments are made.  This position maintains records and prepared required documentation.

  • Manage the full deduction lifecycle for assigned customer portfolios.
  • Perform and maintain accurate and timely reconciliation of open deductions.
  • Process credit and debit memos with a high degree of accuracy, assign proper codes with detailed commentary.
  • Initiate timely and consistent collection efforts on invalid customer deductions

Ultimately, you will play a vital role in our company and will use your organizational skills to ensure that we are operating efficiently and are able to satisfy the needs of our internal and external customers.

We need you to have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with large, automated financial systems such as SAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization

Icing on the cake:

  • AA in Finance or Accounting
  • CPG experience
  • 2+ years of related professional experience in Finance, Customer Service or Claims
