LIMS Software Engineer – REMOTE

Location: 100% remote*

*Remote from the following states: California, Washington, Oregon or Able to work Pacific Business Hours

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and deploy improvements and extensions to the LIMS, as well as
  • associated lab instruments and software systems
  • Track key processes, performance, and business metrics related to LIMS
  • Assist in troubleshooting LIMS.  
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvements, and generate software solutions
  • Perform IQ, OQ, and PQ on the LIMS and related systems, and prepare the associated
  • documentation

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • 3+ years of experience in Pharma / Lab domain with hands-on experience with LIMS
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, ES6, NodeJS
  • 3+ years of experience with modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
  • 1+ Year of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS experience
  • Experience working in a Linux/UNIX environment, hands on with bash scripting
  • GIT experience
  • Must have strong functional knowledge of LIMS, preferably LabWare
  • Experience supporting LIMS in a production environment
  • Experience working with lab scientists on software development and/or analysis projects
  • Experience with supporting users, such as training or troubleshooting issues
  • Experience with Google Data Studio
  • Strong documentation skills
