**Description:** As a Software Manager within Special Programs APD\-ME, you will lead a multi\-discipline team executing activities required to design and deliver Sensemaking Applications \(Apps\)\. APD\-ME has been accelerating development of Sensemaking Apps to meet critical mission needs of our customers\. You will be responsible for providing direction to the team, ensuring innovative solutions are delivered on schedule and within budget\. You will also partner with the Major Functional Organizations \(MFOs\), other Lines of Business \(LOBs\) and other Lockheed Martin Business Areas on joint strategies to use the full strength of the enterprise to win and execute future opportunities\.

Software Manager responsibilities will include:

• Management of technical, schedule and cost performance

• Implementation of Lockheed Martin policies, enterprise common products and standard methodologies

• Regular engagement with LM Executives and Customers on program status

• Coordination of employee recruitment and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary and recognition/disciplinary actions

• Working across the enterprise to deliver innovative mission solutions

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Strong technical acumen with Software Development and current technologies

• 3\+ years of experience directing/leading Agile Software Development

• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

**Desired Skills:**

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills with Executives and subordinates

• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with Customers

• Earned Value Management \(EVM\)/Control Account Management \(CAM\) experience

• AI/ML knowledge

• Proposal experience
