Software Engineer to support our MFC Engineering & Technology reuse library called "The Hub"\. As a Hub Software Engineer, you’ll utilize rigorous software development processes to build robust products that can be used by program teams throughout the Missiles and Fire Control enterprise\. This is an opportunity to impact software products for a large portfolio of tactical military systems, including cruise missiles, missile air defense platforms, and sensor systems for drones, helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, and ground vehicles\. Bring your skills to a diverse and talented team that works in a collaborative environment to produce innovative products\. Top candidates will have in\-depth experience developing software using C\+\+11, 14, or 17\.

The Locale:

Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid\-Cities” region in the Dallas\-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas\. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth\. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate\. The Mid\-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty\-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth\. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB \(Hurst, Euless and Bedford\), NRH \(North Richland Hills and Richland Hills\), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree\. Considered career, or journey, level\.

• In\-depth experience programming in C\+\+\.

• Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle

• Experience with Git and/or Gitlab\.

**Desired Skills:**

• Experience programming in C\+\+11, 14, and/or 17\.

• Strong communication skills that support documenting and presenting innovative feature sets to the MFC community\.

• Agile product development

• Experience implementing DevOps software development environments\.

• Experience with Linux\.

• Experience with Gitlab CI, Jira, Docker, Python, and cybersecurity\.

• Domain knowledge in embedded software development for military products, including missiles and/or sensor systems
