Job Description
The Director of Monitoring & Presentation oversees the implementation and support of enterprise-wide monitoring solutions that provide availability, performance and health data for infrastructure and application components across a diverse operating environment. You should have leadership experience, managing monitoring solutions for cloud, mainframe, midrange, middleware, and applications from a resource level to the end-user level. You will work with application and infrastructure organizations to guide advanced insights, automation opportunities, predictive and proactive analytics capabilities.
• Essential Responsibilities
• Provide guidance to a team located across the US
• Maintain close partnerships with application and infrastructure organizations to maintain understanding of growing needs
• Build a monitoring strategy that aligns to the organizational direction
• Deliver monitoring and telemetry collection across the enterprise
• Identify and execute on automation opportunities that contribute to a Software Defined Infrastructure

Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering for infrastructure disciplines (e.g. operations, server, storage, networks)
• 8+ years of experience leading cross functional technology teams

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiar with IBM/NetCool product features and configuration
• Familiar with IBM ITM products applied to mainframe and midrange environments
• Familiar with Micro Focus product suite
• Familiar with APM products such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace
• Understanding of Z/OS, Windows, AIX, Linux, VM operating environments
• Understanding of middleware products, i.e. IIB, MQ, Data Power, APIc
• Understanding of cloud and microservice environments, i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP, Open Shift, Salesforce
• Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management and ITOM module.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
