POSITION SUMMARY:

Honeywell Connected Industrial (HCI) is looking for a Sales Transformation Leader reporting directly to the VP, Global Sales with the mission & responsibility to change & build the sales organization into an efficient, customer-centric & solution driven enterprise software sales structure. This key leader will work with the VP, Global Sales & his Leadership Team to structure the HCI Sales organization into a harmonized multi-layered Team able to drive a solution outcome mindset through Enterprise Software Key Account Management on one hand whilst leveraging growing sales opportunities through Territory Management with HPS on the other hand in order to deliver revenue growth and increased sales productivity. The Sales Transformation Leader will oversee the Deal Velocity & Sales simplification project with a matrix to the HCI Sales Operations and Analytics team under HCE Commercial Excellence.

The Sales Transformation Leader must be a strong team player, an individual that can set a future state and develop a strategy to get the Sales Teams buy-in in a collaborative, positively contagious, evangelizing and effective manner. This will require a structured approach with strong communication skills, a high degree of empathy to win hearts and minds and a relentless determination to overcome both internal and external challenges to deliver the desired business outcomes and results. The future, stability and success of the Sales Team depends in part on this critical transformation.

SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive & implement the new Sales structure around Key Account Management and Territory Management; work with the Regional Sales Directors and Human Resources on a strong change management plan; evangelize for success
  • Implement a continuous improvement monitoring system to identify adherence, variation, trends etc. in relation to the new sales processes implemented this should include communication, change management and reporting
  • Define with Marketing and Enterprise Solutions Consulting the strategy, sales processes and supporting materials to use in each targeted customer segment: KAM | Territory but also site | multi-site | C-suite
  • Oversee & support the Deal Velocity work stream aimed at improving sales performance through the identification and elimination of complexity, variation, duplication and waste within the business processes in order to drive greater efficiency and:
    o deliver and exceed business AOP targets including sales revenue, operating income and receivables/payables
    o improve overall customer experience & satisfaction, ease to do business with & repeat orders
    o enhance employee performance & retention & improve cross business/function collaboration
  • Complete post implementation reviews to ensure anticipated objectives have been achieved and sustained, document any specific findings or learnings that can be applied including revised working practices e.g. processes, procedures, instructions etc. ensuring communication & training to all required stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Excellence teams to ensure a consistent approach is applied across the business and results, experiences, learnings are shared leading to training where necessary
  • In close partnership with the HCE Commercial Excellence Team, proactively align, monitor, analyze and communicate targeted, relevant sales information to facilitate understanding of business performance across segments, accounts, geographies, and verticals to make informed decisions regarding opportunities and performance
  • Partner with senior commercial and sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process and tool improvements, facilitate successful implementation of new programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Working with HR and the HCE Commercial Excellence Team, ensure fast hiring and onboarding of the right salespeople with developmental training and mentoring programs focused on higher productivity and reduced attrition

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Master's degree
  • 8+ years experience in Sales including significant experience developing corporate sales execution strategies, business development, operations, and leading change.
  • 5+ years of experience with SaaS sales and sales structures

  • Significant experience in Sales Operations and executing sales strategies
  • Significant experience in progressive leadership roles within a sales organization, including global responsibility and matrixed responsibility
  • Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level and drive alignment by influencing business partners, senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience bringing a team or customer through a digital transformation
