  • Manage CI/CD technology stack which includes (Jenkins, Hashicorp vault/Terraform, Ansible, Veracode, Sonarqube, Nexus, Gitlab etc)
  • Lead and mentor a software engineering team to develop and scale a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery platform that will automate the deployment, hardening and policy configuration of application code and infrastructure for use by our partnering teams
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to help speed up time to market for applications developed in house.
  • Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Implement systems improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
  • Ensure security best practices are identified and integrated into systems design and configuration
  • Assist in evaluating, planning, configuration, and implementation of new software services
  • Partner with our cloud migration teams to strategize how to perform on-premise to cloud migrations effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain architectural diagram designs and documentation to help partnering cloud infrastructure and application teams to understand the boundaries and capabilities of the tools available to them
  • Act in a strategic capacity as a senior technical expert for all current Cloud based solutions while keeping abreast of future Cloud solutions

Required Qualifications

  • 4-6 years SRE/DevOps experience
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

Additional skills and background

  • Strong Experience and familiarity with Agile concepts and delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (GCP/Azure) and moving workloads into the cloud.
  • Experience migrating on-prem infrastructure to the cloud.
  • Experience with performing code reviews and approvals.
  • Strong coding skills in multiple modern languages and scripting languages (i.e. Java, .NET, Python, Go, C#, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Technical leadership and ability to lead a team in designs, analyze performance of existing systems, and propose new design alternatives that meet or improve on system SLAs.
  • Experience in application containerization and having experience in on-premise and cloud deployment of containers.
  • Experience creating documentation for processes and standards in confluence or other Document Management Systems.
