Job Description:
Responsible for managing cost, schedule and technical performance of developmental satellite payloads and ground systems. Communicates program status and forecasts with the customer.
As the Program Manager, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of product area execution, financial management, and customer interface and support business growth in product area. Coordinates the efforts of other functions to support the mission area and program business strategy for this product segment through evaluation of customer needs and environmental trends.
Provides key team members in development and execution of the product with assigned investment resources and conducts IPDS Gates.
Guides IPTLs including oversight for functions. Provides leadership to IPTLs to ensure that contract deliverables are met, customer satisfaction is excellent, and other costs are minimized.
Employs appropriate Program Management Best Practices and resources. Represents Program at Program Management Reviews and Program Performance Reviews.
Educates, mentors, and provides performance feedback to direct and indirect reports.
Represents the company to the customer, provides program status to customers, gathers "voice of the customer" information and customer assessment data to share with the team for use in solution development.

Required Skills:
___Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, technical field or program/project management
___Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, including a matrixed environment
___Ability to impact and motivate team members and peers
___Ability to partner in matrixed organizations to ensure effective program execution
___Ability to move between strategic and tactical issues quickly
___Ability to lead strategic and tactical initiatives as well as matrixed teams and staff
___Proven demonstration of leadership competencies including influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and motivating results
___Ability to work in exciting, enthusiastic environment
___Project management skills
___Must have a Top Secret clearance
___U.S. Citizenship

Desired Skills: ___Experience working restricted programs
___Experience with algorithm development and performance analysis
___Ability to obtain Program Management certification level 5 within one year
___Experience with Raytheon Gate approval process
___Experience working closely with customers, especially government customers

Required Education (including Major):

___Bachelor___s degree in an engineering or technical field.
Desired Education: Master___s degree in an engineering or technical field.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
