Wells Fargo India enables global talent capabilities for Wells Fargo Bank NA., by supporting business lines and staff functions across Technology, Operations, Risk, Audit, Process Excellence, Automation and Product, Analytics and Modeling. We are operating in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai locations.

Department Overview:
The Enterprise Testing team is responsible for the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities across the Enterprise in alignment with the Risk Management Framework, and ensuring effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.

About the role:
Executes review activities in an effective manner. May lead moderate to high risk or complex review activity engagements in a matrixed environment, and communicates emerging risks to management. Completes review activities on schedule. Raises schedule delays to the review activity lead.

Responsibilities


Looks for opportunities to remediate schedule issues. Escalates any potential issues discovered during the completion of review activities to a review lead.
Identifies potential corrective actions, and follows through on reporting, escalation, and resolution.
Completes all documentation under limited supervision and appropriately retains all work papers (testing schedule, templates, work-papers, deferrals, deviations, etc.).
Consults and implements initiatives with moderate to high risk.
Internal interface with business regarding risk management. Limited to no external interaction. Does not manage other team members.


Market Skills and Certifications


Essential Qualifications


• 6+ years of relevant experience in IT risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, IT systems security, business process management).
• 3+ years direct experience in technology risk management/testing.

Desired Qualifications


•Knowledge and understanding of Technology and Information Security Frameworks and standards (COBIT, FFIEC, NIST, ISO)
•Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, or audit operations
•Experience reviewing testing strategies and methodologies; evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; and identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external compliance examinations
•Experience in testing policy and procedures/control testing
•Experience in creating, executing, and documenting compliance testing

Other Desired Qualifications
•Demonstrated success with influencing business units to identify, formulate and implement processes/procedures to mitigate risk.
•Experience in assessing risk, writing issues, and developing appropriate corrective actions.
•Demonstrated negotiation skills, especially with difficult topics when partnering with technology. This includes the willingness and ability to question decisions, understand direction and escalate issues, where necessary.
•Demonstrated experience with both strategic and tactical approaches to risk management.
•Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and deliver results quickly.
•Demonstrated experience working with other risk management communities.
•Experience with third party management, technology control functions, technology risk metrics, or technology processes oversight.
•Demonstrated understanding of technology environments as it relates to risk issues facing financial institutions today.
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; regulatory experience a plus
•One or more of the following Professional certifications is desired:
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM
