Current Need McKesson is seeking a Marketing Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Position Description
As a Marketing Business Intelligence Analyst with McKesson Medical-Surgical, you will be primarily responsible for supporting Health System and Government Enterprise customer segments by building transparency of marketing activity. As we continue work across the enterprise to better understand Health System and growing our Government business, having a deeper understanding and ability to leverage data to profile both of those customer segments are critical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical support across Health System and Government segments of the marketing department.
  • Provide support for the product marketing function through research and analysis of the company's markets, competition and product mix.
  • Research and make presentations on dynamics that impact medical surgical market.
  • Analyze the competitive environment and future trends and makes recommendations.
  • Be an excellent critical thinker and demonstrate problem solving skills.
  • Have strong understanding of data manipulation, data relationships, spreadsheets, queries, and business intelligence tools.
  • Have strong ability to generate meaningful data analysis to influence action.
  • Have strong understanding of quantitative modeling methods and concepts.

Minimum Requirements
2+ years' experience in analytics or data related fields

Critical Skills
  • Experience working with technology and large amounts of data.
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, reports, and visualization to identify and predict market trends and dynamics
  • Experience with SQL, Microsoft Business Applications to include Excel and PowerPoint (must be proficient in SQL, must know it, write queries, modify, write, and read queries)
  • Experience creating and manipulating promotion forecasting models to assess financial liabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to use data-driven insights to recommend actions to improve performance to Marketing leadership
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to uses syndicated data sources to gain better understanding of Medical Surgical market, customers and market trends. A few examples but not limited to are: Definitive Data, Google Analytics Data, IQVIA (IMS Health) data, CMS, CDC

Education
BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
