The successful candidate will be part of a project team that execute deployment of Honeywell Connected Enterprise Asset Management & Predictive Maintenance software solutions. To that end, the engineer shall be responsible for requirements gathering, development of equipment/asset monitoring fault & predictive models and techno-commercial proposals, conducting demonstrations, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing design & best industrial practice on asset monitoring/reliability, and working with project teams. The engineer acts as a technical consultant/subject matter expert point throughout the duration of the project and serves as a key liaison between customers and the execution & development team, ensuring that the delivered system meets the functional & technical requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for providing consulting/supporting project team for end-to-end design & delivery of models & predictive maintenance solutions for Mining industry
  • Provide 24 /7 support as required by the business. Follow the support procedure and document the incidents resolution learnings.
  • Develops models to identify repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect asset/plant operations using various techniques such as 1st Principles Models, Data Analysis techniques and Machine Learning.
  • Responsible for supporting engineering teams for the development of conceptual, user requirement, functional and detailed technical design specifications
  • Establishing acceptance criteria of fault/predictive model designs with customer stakeholders
  • Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line and articulating the benefits & value proposition of asset monitoring solution such as Asset Utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Remaining Useful life, etc) to the customer.
  • Participates and facilitate critical project activities, ensuring buy-in and acceptance from the customer including, but not limited to Project Kick Off, FDS, DDS, FAT, SAT, Training, Project commissioning, & Go Live activities
  • Support change management within customer organization through preparation of business process diagrams, preparing training & best practice documentation, conducting training sessions.
  • Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the HCE engineering/ product development group. Regularly identify & communicate risk in the project and prepare mitigation plans.
  • Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other disciplines.
  • Communicate with internal team regarding technical issues, escalating these early in the project.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Metallurgical)
  • 5 years of experience in the Mining industry (Mining, Metals, Minerals) with a focus on asset performance management, asset maintenance and condition monitoring
  • 5 years of experience modelling asset behavior using 1st Principles Models, Data Analysis and Machine Learning.
