STS Technical Services is hiring Predictive Technologies Data Scientists in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Summary:

  • Develops and supports predictive technologies and digital solutions across multiple airframe and engine types.
  • Seeking a data scientist with a primary focus on the development and support of predictive, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions.
  • The position requires a proven track record in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data storytelling.
  • Ideally, the individual has experience and proven record of success on using data to shift from condition-based maintenance practices to predictive maintenance strategies in operational environments.
  • The individual should have excellent organizational and communication skills and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • The role will support the delivery of digital transformation for our client.

Job Duties:

  • Develop machine learning solutions for complex business problems (large network based environment).
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Technical Specialists, and Developers to create, validate and connect predictive model to Predictive UI/UX.
  • Modeling of complex systems and predictive analytics to provide alerting of impending failures of components and or systems based on downloaded aircraft sensor data.

Qualifications:

  • Must be COVID-19 vaccinated, have 1st COVID-19 vaccination shot or willing to take COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science or related quantitative degrees with graduate level education in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Master's and PhDs preferred).
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases (SQL).
  • Proficiency in Machine Learning techniques (Python, SciKit Learn, R, SAS and other machine learning platform).
  • Proficiency in deep learning technique/platform (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).
  • Working knowledge of Reinforcement Learning preferred.
  • Working knowledge of distributed computing platforms (Hive/Hadoop/Spark) required.
  • Working knowledge of API Consumption preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Hyperion preferred Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritizations skills.
  • Must be able to interact and collaborate at all levels, cross-divisional working groups, and outside entities.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles.
