Vice President (VP) of Cardiovascular Services
 

Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 631- bed Health Care System including Bay Area, Doctors Regional, The Heart Hospital, Northwest Regional, Bayview Behavioral Hospital, Northshore Emergency Center, Northwest Behavioral Health Center and Radiation Oncology at Corpus Christi Cancer Center.

What you will do in this role:
 
  • Responsible for driving the clinical and service line strategy for Cardiovascular, Bariatrics, Neuroscience, Surgical Oncology and additional services at Corpus Christi Medical Center. 
  • Responsible for initiating programs and growing market share in the service lines. 
  • Leveraging system scale and capability to achieve success. 
  • Developing and implementing business plans to support the continued growth and success of the hospital. 
  • Executing alignment initiatives with affiliated physician practices. 
  • Ensuring the financial viability of service line initiatives. 
  • Establishing collaborative relationships with various departments and managers within the hospital. 
  • Designing, planning, and implementing programs that promote the mission to improve the health of the communities served.

 

Qualifications

What qualification you will need:
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field required.
  • Master’s Degree in healthcare related or business field required. 
  • Clinical licensure. i.e. RN, PT, OT Preferred. 
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience preferred. 
  • Five years of experience in program development and/or administrative healthcare experience required.
