SSSD has an opening for a Program System Administrator Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.
The Program System Administrator-Manager 2 will report into the AMP Program Business Manager. This position provides supervision, guidance, development, and facilitates change management to a staff of approximately 10 exempt cost management and system administrator analysts. Candidate must have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of Micro-Frame Project Manager (MPM), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and its implementation as it pertains to program business rhythms. The candidate will interface regularly with the program leadership across multiple programs, in addition to, their customers.
This position requires the selected incumbent to possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and or Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) access.
Responsibilities include:
  • An understanding of MPM (understanding of Cobra and PowerBi are a plus), EVMS, as well as broad knowledge of aerospace industry systems and procedures
  • Management of program business systems and coordinating monthly business processes to enable the delivery of successful products to the program and customer
  • Facilitating improvements in processes, software and influence architecture requirements to improve efficiencies
  • Interfacing with upper management, human resources, compliance, program leadership, and security
  • Process/procedure/compliance, and Ad Hoc program activities
  • High acumen for problem solving as this role requires the identification of issues and problems across multiple contracts in order to make recommendations to management for resolution
  • Resource planning and staffing; employee engagement, staff development, including skills training and career support; performance management, including employee goal setting, annual reviews, and issues resolution


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in Business Administration to include Program Cost Control and Planning or 6 years of stated experience with a Master's Degree
  • Working knowledge of EVMS
  • Expert user in MPM, MS Office Tools
  • Active TS and/or SCI Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Current or previous experience working with restricted customers
  • Leadership experience
