Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Applications Systems Analyst Senior to join our team for Remote work that allows for 100% Telecommuting and working from home from anywhere in the United States! 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily duties of backups, maintenance on applications and OS, patching, tuning and troubleshooting.

  • Perform Linux systems administration.

  • Configure system based on requested changes. Follow CM process to effectively manage environment changes.

  • Provide necessary instruction and documentation for change requests, installing operating systems, loading (installing) COTS products, and configuring operating systems and COTS products.

  • Recommend changes, upgrades, and enhancements based on the technical analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 4 or more years of experience in installing, loading, and configuring operating systems and COTS products.

  • Have knowledge of tracking and analyzing performance and resource utilization of the assigned systems

  • Experience working with Administration of Splunk, Arcsight, and other SIEM and log collection products. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operational experience in supporting applications such as PEGA, Kafka, Hazelcast, Informatica Identity Resolution, Red Hat JWS Tomcat, and/or Tableau.

  • Certifications in operating systems and other COTS products.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and possess a current and active TOP SECRET.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility.
