LTSS Training Specialist

Locations: Texas, Iowa, and Florida

The selected applicant must reside in one of the above states

The LTSS Training Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of Specialized Populations national training programs and delivery solutions meeting both federal and multi-state requirements. Provides subject matter expertise in specialized populations (LTSS, IDD, Child welfare, complex populations, and waiver programs) and person-centered care planning. Individual will train and educate others to deliver a person-centered approach to supporting complex populations.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops training content, delivers training and proactively identifies and diagnoses business opportunities for improvements, makes recommendations for adjustments to training programs and content.
  • Delivers synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and in-person environments.
  • Employs rapid course development methodologies to quickly meet evolving market needs.
  • Exercises classroom management including learner performance and escalates issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Measures, tracks, and evaluates learner and market satisfaction.
  • Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning style and cultural differences that drive trainer and learner effectiveness.
  • Keeps technical skills updated.


  • Requires BA/BS in related field; 3-5 years training experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Four years of LTSS clinical experience is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
