The person in this position will be responsible for duties related to teaching as an adjunct faculty. Internet instruction may be required. Applicant must have fluent knowledge of most current computer applications used in graphic design profession.   The ideal candidate will be able to: teach students the skills of digital illustration page layout image-scanning image manipulation   In addition to graphic design elements of typography production color separation digital printing processes and photography Applicant will also: Utilize technology (including Canvas) Gradebook/feedback up-to-date within 1 week Timely response to student emails within 24 hours Meet attendance and final grade entry deadlines ILO/data reporting to Lead Instructor/Division as requested Maintain communication with Lead Instructor and Director Preferred Degree:  MFA in Graphic Design Will Accept: BFA in Graphic Design with work experience Have a working knowledge of computers as a medium to manage and improve instruction. Ability to interact with a broad range of people both on and off campus in a positive manner. Show evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess an understanding of the range of needs community college students represent. Possess a commitment to the philosophy and mission of the community college. Willingness to improve instruction through professional development including pedagogy and technology. Preference given to those with previous community college experience and those whom are in state residents.
