Honeywell Advanced Materials (AM), a $2.8B global business unit within Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) is seeking an experienced Customer Marketing Director to serve as the owner for Fluorine Products (FP) Global Business Enterprise. The Director of Customer Marketing will drive the business positioning and marketing strategy, and is responsible for leading, managing and directing all product marketing related activities within the FP business. This is a global role focused on driving business results with large, global OEM customers as well as driving growth within the distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have proven B2B experience working with customers in these areas, including the business practices, lifecycle management and regulatory/industry compliance practices.  Experience working effectively in a multi-channel selling environment is critical. As part of the leadership team, this role is also responsible for positioning the FP business to meet its long-term business goals and objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, sales/commercial excellence, offering management, strategic marketing, and channel marketing teams to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future. The candidate will develop and execute digital-first, omni-channel plans to launch new products, promote product enhancements and pursue new growth opportunities through innovative marketing practices like account based and micro-targeted digital and social media marketing. 

In addition to driving the FP marketing strategy and activities, the Customer Marketing Director will also take the lead for the AM business in working across functions (e.g. IT) and across PMT to develop an online strategy that maximizes the customer experience across all of PMT’s businesses as customers seek the latest innovations in sustainability, life sciences and other growth vectors. This will include working with global colleagues to develop and execute AM’s approach to a PMT online strategy, including maintaining and enhancing the digital infrastructure and the marketing strategy for the external websites for the business

The role will report directly to the Sr. Director Customer Marketing for AM with a matrix relationship to the Vice President General Manager, Fluorine Products.

Job Responsibilities: 

Oversee the development of FP’s customer marketing annual plan and budget aligned overall business strategy
Work effectively with senior leadership acting as an advisor and change agent, and be able
to work seamlessly with global colleagues in other all lines of business and regions
Engage with the businesses early in the product development process to ensure comprehensive and effective marketing plans
Drive engagement through social media, search, and PR strategies and tactics
Leverage data and analysis to assess the impact and performance of marketing content and tactics, and conduct A/B testing to identify highest performing
Work with cross-functional Advanced Materials team to consolidate website properties and reduce overhead
Work with a cross PMT team to develop and execute the online strategy for AM as a part of a full PMT digital strategy 
Be a champion of the message and storytelling that will drive overall differentiation, customer and partner loyalty, and interest in our products and solutions
Drive continuous improvement and seek ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently.

Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, business, communications or a related field 
10 years of customer marketing, digital marketing or B2B demand generation experience

Extensive years of experience with increasing responsibilities in product, customer or strategic marketing 
Experience with Product Launch, Commercialization 
Ability to work and thrive in a highly matrixed global organization 
Experience presenting to senior executives
Significant experience motivating teams 
Quickly identifies patterns among problems & issues
Works well as a self-starter in ambiguous environments
Makes timely decisions balancing systematic analysis
Decisive and logical at thoroughly evaluating issues
Excellent planning, execution and project-management skills
Strong communicator with crisp and persuasive communication skills
Critical & multi-level thinking (from strategic to tactical)
Experience with Product Market Analysis
Master’s or MBA is preferred
