O'Reilly is looking for an Email Marketing Coordinator to join our rapidly growing marketing team! This individual will have an opportunity to make an impact on the future brand of a Fortune 500 company while ensuring the integrity of the O'Reilly culture. The Email Marketing Coordinator will work closely with several teams within O'Reilly to develop an overall email and text marketing strategy. The ideal candidate for this role flourishes in a collaborative, creative environment and is an imaginative problem-solver. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Research and develop overall email marketing campaign strategy to include re-engagement, marketing and promotional activities, ORewards segmentation best practices, as well as any additional opportunities that arise.
  • Assist in creating life cycle marketing strategies for different customer segments, from acquisition through win back scenarios.
  • Create email marketing campaigns that convey overall marketing messages clearly and in the proper tone to customers and prospective customers.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operation, Graphics and IS team for proper item selection, creation and coding of all types of emails to include Marketing, ORewards, transactional, triggered, etc.
  • Ensure messages are proofread and tested prior to deployment and sent in proper form and template.
  • Assist with additional email strategy and creation for other departments: HR, professional sales team, etc. 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in email marketing.
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business.
  • Requires experience with and knowledge of email and online marketing.
  • Ability to write, proofread and edit with proficiency and accuracy.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Google Analytics. 
  • Experience coding in HTML, CSS etc. is a plus.
  • Requires experience with and knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Compensation Range

$16.00 - $25.00 annually, pay will be based upon applicable experience, training and skills
