Cornerstone Application Production Support Team

The primary mission for core services is the delivery of technology solutions with sustainable compliance, efficiency and innovation across the bank. The Cornerstone Application Production Support (CAPS) team provides Level 2 production support for Cornerstone, which is an enterprise customer due diligence, AML, and KYC globally satisfying multiple regulatory jurisdictions.  This team provides key IT Service Management services including Production Support, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Release & Deployment Management.

Level 2 support comprised of application support personnel responsible to ensure full availability during business hours or as agreed by the stakeholders.  This includes responding to customer requests to ensure all customer requests are satisfied in a timely fashion and if necessary, utilize work around technical solutions.   Support is provided by follow the sun model and is escalation point for engagement by technology, business, and operations for all application issues.

Successful characteristics for this role:  Delivery of production support services, developing strong partnerships, balancing multiple priorities, understanding and supporting a changing environment, and driving efficient improvements.

Provides Production Support for the Cornerstone Customer Due Diligence Java, SQL and Web Based Unix applications; maintain, troubleshoot and restore service to supported applications, RPA bots (Robotic Process Automation) and Automated Interfaces; act as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes to users and service desks; supports migrations from development to production; perform limited programming to fine tune system; troubleshoots  software issues and coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups; creates issue logs; assesses risk to production systems and assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver day-to-day application production support services for Cornerstone (CDD/KYC/AML)
  • Lead technical triage activities for Low to medium severity incidents
  • Complete critical requests on demand to support our clients and application.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues leverage partner teams and learn from Subject Matter Experts
  • Drive efforts to find root cause as part of problem management and to provide
  • Facilitate continuous improvement to increase stability, client delight and operational excellence
  • Identify and aid with development of improvements through automation
  • Build strong partnerships across technology, business, and operational teams
  • Able to be successful in a matrixed structure with a globally dispersed virtual team

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 1 + year of Core Java experience
  • 1+ year of SQL experience
  • 1+ year of Autosys experience

  • Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
  • Strong team or technical leadership experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 1+ year of Incident Response Protocols and Tools experience
  • 1+ year of middleware development experience
  • 1+ year of experience working in a large enterprise network organization
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of operations environment experience
  • 1+ year of risk and regulatory compliance experience
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) financial compliance investigations
  • Knowledge and understanding of Autosys
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: web-based applications developed in Java or .net framework
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to research and resolve confirmation discrepancies
  • 1+ year of Java experience
  • 2+ years of Autosys experience
  • 2+ years of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)
  • 2+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of JavaScript framework

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and ability to learn in ensuring availability of application, Periodic Maintenance, Monitoring and Batch processing
  • Ability to leans application workarounds, break-fixes, recovery and remediation
  • Knowledge or Experience supporting IBM BPM, Webshpere Lombardi Edition, or Integration Designer (IID)
  • Knowledge or Experience supporting ETL, and middleware messaging flows using Solace or MQ.
  • Knowledge or Experience with application monitoring tools ITRS, AppDynamics and Splunk
  • 1+ year of experience working with vendor software, technologies and tools that are enterprise solutions
