You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Endoscopy Technician like you to be a part of our team.

As an Endoscopy Technician, you will assist the endoscopy team through case preparation, procedural assistance, and the after care of patients, equipment, and supplies. You will provide gastrointestinal diagnostic testing and pain management procedures for both inpatients and outpatients. You will assist before, during and after procedures by performing direct and indirect patient care.

  • You will assist with patient intake and ensure all documentation on the pre-procedure checklist is complete and accurate
  • You will transfer patients to the procedure room and assist with positioning patients
  • You will prepare procedure rooms using knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • You will assist with room cleanup and sterilization after the procedure
  • You will assist the team with sample collection, dilation, and polypectomy during Endoscopy procedures
  • You will maintain inventory and equipment and ensure appropriate supply levels

Experience 

  • 1 year of Endoscopy experience – preferred
  • If certified, no previous experience required or preferred

Education 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Qualifications met for certification as an Endoscopy Technician

Licenses and Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy
  • Certification as an Endoscopy Technician through the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) – preferred
