Then we have an opportunity for you!  We are searching for a Director of Global Supply Chain to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Director of Global Supply Chain you will be responsible for end-to-end logistics, trade compliance and planning for import/export, Canada and the International Business Unit, including both strategic and tactical aspects. You will also be responsible for establishing the strategic direction for import/export and foreign to foreign logistics, including compliance activities and long term planning.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive S&OP process with International Business Unit to determine demand requirements and related supply planning activities
  • Oversee the management of relationships and agreements with third parties including Customs Brokers, freight forwarders and other third parties involved in the import/export and International process.
  • Ensure customs policies and business SOP’s are maintained, and effectively implemented to support global supply chain requirements, local regulations, and corporate polices/standards
  • Mitigate risks associated with Global Supply Chain execution and drive compliant cost-saving global trade programs and logistics initiatives

Ultimately, you will determine Logistics solutions to support growth of International Business, including end-to-end coordination for new product Logistics.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS in International Business, International Logistics, Supply Chain, OR sufficient work experience to compensate
  • 10+ years of progressive Global Supply Chain experience including international, import/export and trade compliance
  • Understanding of the C-TPAT process, minimum security and audit requirements
  • Proven track record in successfully leading complex cross-functional projects dedicated to international logistics, import/export processes and cost optimization
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically as well as internationally

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Sales and Operations Planning experience 
  • Customs broker license or comparable training
