Job Description:

The AMRS 3PD Desk deals with a number of investor types including Banks, Brokerdealers, RIAs, Wirehouses, Private Banks, Wealth Managers, Asset Managers and others for structured products linked to equity and hybrid product as well as cross-asset risk premia products. The position is an economist role that requires technical and market skills, a problem solving approach and ability to undertake macroeconomic analysis and assess/recommend products that will take advantage of those trends.

Responsibilities:
Support the AMRS 3PD desk in the following manner:
  • Conduct surveys and collect data from our major structured note data providers
  • Analyze the data referenced above and using models and other statistical techniques, discern trends that the desk should be aware of and figure out how to capitalize on it
  • Present the above reference data, interpret it and report it out to the clients of the AMRS 3PD
  • Using the above mentioned analysis, also help the desk understand what product would make most sense for the client base and then work with team to discuss and present to our clients.
  • Present at conferences to discuss BAC's stance on economic matters and what that means for market moves and what products might make sense to use to capitalize on these.
  • Assist in formulating, marketing and executing trade ideas •
  • Strong communication skills, analytical background and proficiency with excel are a must •
  • Candidates must be high energy, be motivated to take initiative and ownership of projects, and multi task in a fast paced trading desk environment, while paying attention to detail •
  • Strong knowledge of Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word. PowerPoint, programming languages (e.g. PYTHON, VBA)
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are required for the role, but can be obtained after joining the team
