**Job Description :**
Responsible for performing high quality 3D reconstructed CT and MRI images in order to make available images for interpretation within an aggressive time frame.
+ Manipulate CT and MRI medical images on highly sophisticated 3D workstations and specializedreconstruction software in multiple planes and dimensions for clinical visualization and qualitative analysis of diagnostic and interventional studies, and calculations of volumes as directed. (30%)
+ Prepares and manages transfer of image data to and from in an accurate and timely manner. (30%)
+ Collaborates with other professional colleagues and clinicians to be able to respond to clinicians' detailed request for views depicting certain anatomy and/or pathology. (20%)
+ Provide technical expertise for development of 3DR imaging protocols on varied patient population including 3D vascular exams to include all arteries and veins. (10%)
+ Perform quality control functions to ensure timely reporting. (10%)
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required
+ Graduate from an accredited radiology program in accordance with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
+ 5 years as a CT or MR tech Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and radiology equipment
+ Radiography certification
+ Computed Tomography (CT) **OR** Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification
+ 5 years as a CT or MR tech at a Level I or II Trauma Center
+ Experience in volumetric image processing
