Under the general direction of the Senior Director, Strategic Solutions, the Associate Director, Strategic Value Analysis will work closely with Product & Solutions Strategy and Marketing, Solution Owners, and Sales to help evaluate new product and solution opportunities, competitive market positioning, and support business decisions through market, financial, data and outcomes analyses. This position will support internal and external customers with business and market analyses, developing strategic and financial analyses, value propositions and ROI tools, and ad hoc reports and analyses that drive new virtual care use cases, program growth and scalability across the healthcare ecosystem and care continuum.

This position requires excellent understanding of the healthcare industry and market drivers including population health and value-based care, big data, and leveraging multiple platforms to extract maximum value from our data assets and identify insights that drive solution strategies across our business.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Product & Solutions Marketing, Solution Owners, and Sales to develop market sizing, value propositions, ROI analyses, financial models and sensitivity analyses to support development and evaluation of new products and solutions, and to support customer discussions that drive virtual care expansion in domestic and international markets
  • Conduct market research on new programs, published studies, benchmarks and best practices that demonstrate improved outcomes (e.g., access, growth, clinical, operational, financial) using virtual care. These studies may be used in customer discussions, and to influence telehealth policy and advocacy efforts for coverage and payment of services at the federal and state levels
  • Build-out strategic data visualizations to support customer discussions, as well as for go-to-market strategies and targeted marketing campaigns
  • Train and mentor more junior members of the team on market, financial, and data modeling and systems
  • Support Product and Solutions Marketing with strategic business analyses, total addressable market and segmentation, build/buy/partner analyses, competitive pricing analyses, new payment models and financial impact modeling, and other ad hoc reports and analyses
  • Develop dashboards and reports to drive insights and better understand the value and impact of our products, solutions and features on growing profitable sales for new and existing customers
  • Develop budget proformas to assist our customers better understand the operating and capital requirements and other investments necessary to grow and scale their virtual care programs
  • Prepare business and market analyses, value propositions, ROI and ad hoc analyses to support consultative selling with the Sales team, and to inform customer discussions in evaluating virtual care investments in various clinical programs and care settings
  • Collaborate with Product & Solutions Marketing, Solution Owners, Sales and Marketing, and others to understand and advise on clinical use case value analysis and ROI using virtual care
  • Limited travel may be required
Candidate Profile
  • 6-8 years of experience with excellent business, analytical and financial modeling skills and strong business acumen preferably in healthcare systems and/or healthcare technology
  • Experience in pricing analyses strongly preferred
  • Flexible to manage multiple projects, while prioritizing and maintaining focus
  • BA/BSc or higher, Masters' degree preferred
  • Experience working in a corporate environment
  • Strong background in business planning, market sizing, finance and data analytics, and financial modeling skills to drive business insights and decision-making
  • Understand business/value analyses and modeling for new markets, programs, services, and innovative growth strategies
  • Understand value-based care and fee-for-service drivers, including Quadruple Aim outcomes
  • Highly collaborative, customer-centric, resourceful, and responsive working in a fast-paced and evolving digital health landscape for virtual care
