Overview

Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join the team.

 

The Clinical Laboratory Assistant performs the following functions relative to the Lab section assigned:

  • Phlebotomy
  • Patient Registration - clerical and computer functions
  • Cerner Specimen Management - specimen accessioning and processing

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

 

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree

 

Required Experience: Phlebotomy experience is required. Seeking additional experience as a Lab Assistant or Lab Clerk.

 

Work Schedule: PRN
