For our EMEA Product Management organization we are currently looking for:

Standard Product Development Manager North + South EMEA –Electronic Components (m/f/d)


Ideally the location of the position is in Neu Isenburg, Germany but we are open to Italy, Spain and France locations

About the Role:

To own, develop and drive the Standard Product business within North and South  EMEA  Region  (EMEA excluding DACH region). To own and implement the marketing & sales strategy for Standard Product in the Region, working in a matrix with other region organizations to drive profitable sales and market share growth.

What You will Be Doing:

Push/Drives all commodities towards customer Market:

  • Deliver profitable Standard Product (Semi or Passives) market share gains on the region through.
  • Support sales responsible to build a strategy using market data.
  • Define a complete package offer.
  • Supports Sales with a supplier price strategy for the final offer presentation & customer negotiation.

Product/Market expert role (Power, Small Signal Discretes, Analog, Logic, Resistors, Capacitors). On one of these technologies be the leader to:

  • Build market intelligence
  • Develop relationship with key suppliers.
  • Builds relationship with similar functions in ARROW America and ASIA
  • Drive SEMI/Passives Standard Product Quote Conversion through the Sales Organization
  • Drive Non-Demand Creation SEMI/Passives Standard Product projects and Sales through the Organization.
  • Developing compelling messages and executing winning programmes that reinforce Arrow as the #1 choice for STANDARD PRODUCT
  • Developing and implementing financial and logistics programs to enable sales to both win market share and improve our overall productivity.
  • Developing a cost expertise knowledge in the Product Management Organization
  • Developing and maintaining a price/margin guidance system for the EMEA organization

Implement & execute EMEA supplier strategy and programmes within the region and define aligned regional strategies and programs to support this.

  • Participate actively in European initiatives when applicable, influencing European Marketing and Sales strategies

Forge strategic and influential supplier relationships at all levels, EMEA and regional and leverage to pro-actively drive:

  • TAM to DTAM
  • Preferential and exclusive programs
  • Network changes
  • Driving the organization to win SEMI/Passives Commodities and/or offer “add-on” products.
  • Work alongside regional managers to train, enable and develop the sales teams

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience of working with electronics, more specifically in Semiconductors or Passives Standard Product products and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the regional market, industry and customer base
  • Ability to build influential relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking coupled with proven negotiating skills.
  • Action oriented, problem solving, customer focus and results driven.
  • Can effectively cope with change and be comfortable with ambiguity and working in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
