JOB DESCRIPTION

Countering Adaptable Threats Lead

SUMMARY

Parsons is seeking a Countering Adaptable Threats SME/Lead with experience analyzing and forecasting non-state actors/threats use of current and future “improvised technologies” to attack United States and our Allies Interests around the world.  The Countering Adaptable Threats SME serves as the SME interface between Parsons’ extensive portfolio of capabilities and ARL/AFC customers tasked to prepare for and defeat these non-state threats and the improvised devices they are developing to use. The Countering Adaptable Threats SME also serves as a resource for responding to Task Order RFPs and advising Parsons’ Task Order Project Mangers supporting Countering Adaptable Threats R&D projects.

Active or current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Parsons’ R&D resources and product owner to advise on developing requirements associated with Countering Adaptable Threats. 
  • Responsible for customer relationship management (CRM) of current and prospective customers
  • Responsible for providing Countering Adaptable Threats subject matter expertise in support of business capture and proposal development.
  • Responsible as the functional manager (FM) of supported Countering Adaptable Threats Task Orders for advising the Task Order PM and his key leaders and providing assistance with staffing qualified Subject Matter Experts needed for Task Orders that are won. 

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience analyzing Non-state actors and their use of kinetic and non-kinetic means to attack United States and our Allies National Interests.   
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams in projects or programs is desired
  • Experience working with Army Futures Command, Army Research Lab or similar Combat Capabilities Development Commands (a.k.a., DEVCOM), or any program executive office or product management office is preferred.
  • Experience in one or more of the following technical focus areas is preferred.
    • Researching, designing, developing, testing, fielding, and sustaining new technologies that enable expeditionary forces and SOF modernization.
    • Electronic, cyber, and sensor systems
    • Software design, development, and integration
    • Mechanical design and development of components and systems
    • Materials development and integration employment
    • System integration and human system interface.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Master’s degree is preferred.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
