Essential Functions: We seek a full-time lecturer in Biology to help with teaching undergraduate laboratory and lecture courses. One specific responsibility is to develop and teach a course covering Immunology In addition, the individual hired will join a team of Ph.D. level lecturers and teaching professors as an instructor, teaching some of the multiple lab sections that are required for our foundational courses, Principles of Biology I and II.  Additional duties may include teaching a Microbiology lab course, developing other courses in an area of interest and strength, and advising majors in biology. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in a biology-related field, such as immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, or biochemistry. Demonstrated teaching record. Salary Range: Base pay commensurate with experience. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to teach an Immunology course for undergraduate students. There is potential for the candidate to develop other courses appropriate for biology majors and others. Demonstrated use of student-centered, active learning strategies.
