Are you interested in defining possible? Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Junior Product Trainer to join our team! This position will be located in Fairfax, VA and will require frequent travel to the Pentagon.
Our ideal candidate will be a member of the Engineering & Sciences (E&S) Eastern Region homeroom. Our team is chartered with providing the skills, innovative technologies to design, develop, produce and sustain product lines across while providing a decisive advantage to our customer's missions. The candidate will be a self-starter and will be expected to manage and complete their tasks in a fast-paced results driven environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers.
  • Obtain information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
  • Conduct training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise.
  • Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
  • The trainer will need to conduct classroom and virtual training sessions for multiple applications.
This position can be filled at a level 1 or level 2 using the basic qualifications below.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher level clearance
  • Level 1: BS degree, STEM, in Information Technology or a related field
  • Level 2: BS degree STEM, in Information Technology or a related field and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in technical training with government customers
  • Familiar with tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Adobe Photoshop etc. or similar tools.
  • The willingness and ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Knowledge or Experience with Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S) system and PBDMD
  • Knowledge of DoD or Army financial system.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, Qlik.
  • Experience with classroom and web-based trainings, train-the-trainer, One on One support, and Q&A.
