As a SoC Design Verification Engineer, you will be involved in the design and verification of the SoC for neuromorphic computing targeted towards AI applications.  Your primary responsibilities will include digital logic design and verification of various blocks in the SoC.  You will be involved in all aspects of the chip development, including full-chip integration, testbench, verification, and silicon validation activities.  You will also have the exciting opportunity to work with a high-performance team with skillsets spanning AI neural network development in front-end design, physical design, hardware bring-up, and software development.  The role includes defining the verification and hardware (silicon) bring-up plans and proposing design improvement for next generation SoC targeting AI applications.  You will also contribute to SoC architecture definition, FPGA prototyping, and hardware demo.

Preferred Qualification and Skills

  • Experience in building full chip testbench and verification
  • Experience in digital logic design
  • Experience in FPGA design/verification and bring-up is a plus
  • Experience in hardware and silicon bring-up is a plus
  • Proficiency with hardware description languages (Verilog)
  • Proficiency with standard EDA tools for simulation and debug (VCS, Verdi)
  • Proficiency with scripting and firmware programming languages (Perl, Python, C)
  • Good understanding of static and formal verification (CDC, RDC, Lint)
  • Good understanding of synthesis and STA (Design Compiler and Prime Time)
  • Experience in System Verilog is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate crisply and effectively
  • Curiosity to learn and share knowledge in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse team members with wide range of skills and experiences
