GIS Asia Business Enablement Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of communication, business, technology and process skills and knowledge, and should be strong to work under complex matrix organization.

Job Description

  • Plan and manage projects to ensure effective and efficient execution in line with established processes and guidelines and guardrails of scope, timeline, budget and quality

  • Report out business enablement operational performance on the regular basis

  • Facilitate new business enablement opportunities discussion and alignment

  • Maintain the situation under critical, complex problems to resolve, most of the cases, lead and coordinate with other functional team to solve problems.  Require proper escalations, analytical thought for the judgement etc.

  • Drives the resolutions to enable the new GIS business opportunities, or existing systemic issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time, which may include engagement with other GIS functional teams globally

  • Manage communications/marketing related to the team’s services across the organization

  • Communicates difficult concepts in easy business language and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view

  • Vendor management for business enablement projects and tasks implementation, deployment

  • Standardize and optimize business enablement operations and escalation process (new requests, issues and escalation, project execution, etc)

Requirements / Qualification

  • 8+ years’ experience with working (3+ years in a global company environment)

  • Good experience and Knowledge of Network / Server (Windows/Linux) / Storage / DB systems build and Inter-dependencies with upstream and downstream system processes

  • Level-3 skilled with Troubleshooting. Thus, comfortable in supporting customers working with problems with no-prior history, limited information, crisis moments, etc.

  • Effective in performing in a fast-paced environment, with high demand for troubleshooting, customer orientation, and cross-regional collaborations in short durations.

  • Good Understand ITSM solution and architecture (ServiceNow)

  • Communication skill with excellent English capability

  • Interpersonal skill - Communicates difficult concepts in easy business language and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
