Job Summary:
The Material Program Manager (MPM) will be responsible for managing Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) activities in the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) business in support of the Integrated Missile Defense Solutions (IMDS) Program Area to develop, procure, and build the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI). This MPM role will serve as the interface between Supply Chain and the Program Office/Integrated Product Team (IPT) working on both development and production contracts. Key responsibilities include the following: developing and implementing material strategies, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, creating metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier assessments and future proposal activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, operations, or other similar/related field
___ Minimum 8 years of progressive, relevant business experience to include the following:
___ Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams
___ Demonstrated experience in managing suppliers or projects
___ Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project)
___ The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:
___ Prior experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function
___ Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR)
___ Experience with import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR)
___ Knowledge and experience purchasing complex assemblies for military applications (desirable)
___Have strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
___ Demonstrated experience managing critical strategic suppliers
___ Knowledge and experience purchasing complex assemblies for military applications (desirable)
___ Experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
___ Organizational capabilities and be detail oriented
___ Ability to grasp/understand technical concepts and applications
___ Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
